Clinton is definitely a little copy-cat around here...sometimes a shadow. He observes what we're doing (and saying) and revealing our actions to us through his eyes. He puts on chapstick (although it covers his whole face), he puts on my lotion (causing the preschool teachers to pass him around the playground sniffing him trying to figure out why he smells so good), he likes to help me wash dishes (causing a 5-7 minute task to last about 45 minutes, but it's worth it), he mows the lawn (as you saw in the video), he tries to write with pens (and sometimes with crayons on the kitchen windows), he insists on brushing his own teeth (at least 5 times a day), he likes to wipe with toilet paper (even though he doesn't actually use a potty), and he likes to drink out of water bottles or cups like we do....and just about anything we're doing, you can assume he also attempts to do.
Saturday he found a "tool" in the office closet and decided to "fix" Rodney's desk chair. I couldn't help but snap a few shots!
Don't you love having a "mini me?" It's so fun to watch them grow and see them learn. The scary thing about this stage (well, actually from here on out) is that they watch EVERYTHING we do and we have to be on our best behavior at all times. So hard, so hard!
I love how Clinton wears his hat all the time. He is so cute!
I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice
I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.
I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything He wants me to be
I can climb the high mountains
I can cross the wide sea
I'm a great big promise you see!
