The Pumpkin Farm

We have a local farm we go to every October.  It's a family owned farm that boasts a huge pumpkin patch and tons of activities for the kids.  Our kids LOVE going.

Don't let Clinton fool you, this is his excited face...

...as is this.  Or maybe that's sun in his eyes.

Here's a photo op that was going smashingly well.  Clearly.

Clinton playing in the playhouse.

Me and my Boo.

Sweet Rex was such a trooper.  He has been such a great baby...especially back in October when he couldn't walk yet.  He was just happy to be there.  Even if it meant riding in the wagon...

...and riding in the wagon...

..and riding in the wagon...

...and riding in the wagon.

Clinton always loving the trucks.

This girl likes to count money...

Love these sweet kids...especially when they're conquering the world together.

Clinton checked out the chickens, but wasn't too interested.

However, Heidi Sage talked to them...

...and asked them how their day was going...

...and told them how beautiful they were...

...and sang them songs.  It was beautiful.

Little Piggy Toes

Rex didn't start wearing shoes until about...umm...February.  He was a good 14 to 15 months old.  So prior to that, he was always bare foot.  Even when I put socks on him he would tear them off with his teeth (literally).

So one of the images I distinctly have in my head of him, is his little toes peeking out of his much beloved blanket that he usually doesn't part from for more than 20-30 minutes.

More from October

We have a local nursery that sets up a play area for the kids every Halloween.  We met some friends there to play.  No cute stories, just pictures.

So Over It

Clinton got his first bike for his 3rd birthday.  He has loved it.  He rides it almost every day.  He'll ride it around the cul de sac with his buddies, or around the neighborhood with his Daddy.  Much to Clinton's despair, we kept the training wheels on as long as possible because his buddies are older and taught him to jump curbs and ramps.  Awesome.

However, Clinton reached a big milestone just before Halloween.  He learned to ride his bike without training wheels!  He picked it up in about 30 seconds and has been flying up and down the cul de sac ever since.

He even inspired Heidi Sage to try riding her "bike"...but that didn't last long.

Why Clinton decided to learn in his cowboy boots is beyond me.  I wasn't involved in that particular decision...obviously.

Clinton flying away.  We'd like to apologize to the neighbors and their grass!

Oh, How Grand!

Back in October, my parents (Bebe & Hop) came to visit the kids on Halloween weekend.  They got to see a soccer game, hang out with the kids, and go to the local street fair.

Hop getting his fill of all the babes.

Clinton showing off his soccer skills for Bebe and Hop.

Heidi Sage (aka Tinkerbell) being her usual wild self at the soccer fields.

Rex (or Peter Pan) enjoying the view from the best seat in the house.

Captain Jack Sparrow and Hop meeting some Star Wars guys.

The bravest Clinton has ever been, standing next to one of the greatest villains of all time.

Rex loving the street fair.

Every year we stop and take a picture of the kids inside this tree.

At this point, we can two in at a time.  Clinton's holding tight to a new truck Bebe and Hop bought him at the fair.

The boys happily riding along after the fair.  Look how sweetly they're holding hands!  Mommy melts.
