Football Playoff Send-Off

My parents live in a teeny-tiny town in West Texas where, like in most of Texas, football is EVERYTHING in the fall. Their team is still in the playoffs and they would have pep rallies in the street as the team was leaving town for the game. Clinton was able to participate in two of these. These pep rallies are on the main road through town which accommodates a large number of big rigs throughout the day. When they pull into Iraan during one of these pep rallies, they get to sit and wait. Clinton enjoyed the festivities, but was a little scared of the siren from the police car leading the bus out of town. He also wasn't sure about the man dressed up as a "Brave" on horseback, riding around and screaming like an Indian. But he had a good time, and I'm quite sure his Pop had a good time showing him off! Clinton's favorite part was after the pep rally was over, the parade of Big Rigs that would come through that had gotten backed during the festivities. He waved to every single one saying, "Wow!".

Finally getting brave enough to pet the horse!

Wow...I don't remember a charter bus at my high school.

"Ooh, I see the football players!"

"What's that?" (Our new favorite question for everything!)

"BA-oons."
