Since the weather has FINALLY cooled off, the kids and I have been doing lots of outdoor activities...including a few picnics. The other day we went to one of our favorite parks to eat a picnic dinner and then played until the sun went down.
I had imagined a perfect sit down dinner on our picnic blanket with everyone eating their food and sharing laughs over silly things. Instead Clinton cried through the entire "dinner" because he just wanted to go play with the trucks and Heidi Sage wanted to eat on the run, which always makes me nervous.
Anyway, I hurriedly ate my dinner and once the kids were playing, everything went very smoothly. And here are the pictures to prove it...
