We know nothing about soccer in this house...nothing. However, we are now the very proud parents of a soccer player. We had our first practice last night and Clinton LOVED it. He's still a little shy, but jumped right in and joined the other boys.
We've been discussing the concept of a coach and how his coach is like his teacher and he has to listen and follow directions....we'll get there.
He has loved all the equipment he has received...a uniform, new workout gear, shin guards, soccer socks, soccer cleats, and soccer balls. Although, you may notice from the pictures I wasn't aware of the need for cleats and shin guards until we got to practice. But no worries, we're all set for tomorrow's practice.
And someone else enjoyed the practice, too...she even joined the boys on the field a few times. Oopsie. ...but she looked cute doing it!
