New Pictures Coming Tomorrow...

Okay, so I'm on my work computer and I don't feel like switching over to my Mac and uploading pictures since it's past my bedtime. However, I promise to post pictures tomorrow of Clinton standing, playing in bananas, and drying off in his longhorn towel. Please be patient with me...

Oh, and here's a small glimpse into my day these days...this is for you mothers who are so wishing your babies were mobile. These are the sounds I continue to hear throughout my house.

Lots of musical toys. This means Clinton's in place and entertained. Music is silenced and two little hands and two little feet can be heard making their way across the wood floor. This means Clinton has ventured off of his foam play mat and is looking for trouble. The hands and feet go silent and a squeal is let out followed by some hands banging either on the window seal, the dog's water bowl, the fireplace. This means Clinton has actually made it to a destination that mommy usually keeps him from getting to. The squeal is sheer joy and the hands banging are uncontrollable excitement. Silence. This is Clinton concentrating as he pulls himself up to his now-favorite standing position. More squeals. This is Clinton enjoying his new view from up top. A small thud. An immediate louder thud. And then THUD. Silence...3...2...1....screaming. This is Clinton having lost his balance...the first tiny thud being the hands he stretched out in an attempt to save himself but doing nothing more than hitting something on the way down. The immediate thud after that being his bottom....which is then followed with momentum leading us to the loud thud of the head. The silent shock and then the desparate cry for MOMMY! Be careful what you wish for....hold them while you can! The days of finding them where you left them are short-lived!

Just wait, it gets worse. Instead of them crying for you to come help them, they cry when they see you coming because they know you are going to take them away from whatever mischievous act they are doing!
