Ok, so it is no secret that Rodney and I spend most of our Saturdays in the fall following college football games and scores. It appears we may have a little one following in our footsteps. Last night we put Clinton to bed around his usual time. He was doing his usual eye rubs and occasionally falling over from exhaustion while playing. Well, we put him to bed and rather than putting himself to sleep--as he normally does--he screamed and screamed until we couldn't take it anymore. Rodney went and got him, and the little stinker was completely content to just sit and watch football with his daddy until they both fell asleep.
I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice
I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.
I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything He wants me to be
I can climb the high mountains
I can cross the wide sea
I'm a great big promise you see!
I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice
I'm a promise to be anything God wants me to be
Anything God wants me to be!
