A few Wednesdays ago, we hosted a little play date at our house. As it has been most places, it has been a bit of a scorcher here this summer. I have yet to venture to the pool by myself with both kids and a baby belly, so we get our cool on with backyard water fun.
I sent out a little FB invite to everyone I could think of off the top of my head at 12 o'clock at night...so if you didn't get one, it wasn't on purpose. :-) I got the idea off of another blog to have a Backyard Waterpark using inflatable pools, sprinklers, slip-n-slides, water balloons, and whatever else floats your boat....or your dead, dry grass.
We blew up a few pools. Laid out the new slip-n-slide. Drug out our bubble wands and bought a bubble machine. And Clinton and I had 200 prepared water balloons. I also did a small lunch spread and offered up some liquids. The kids had a great time and we hope to do it again before the summer is over!

What a great idea! We just did this at playgroup this week too and the kids loved it.
The fat part I doubt. And I believe we will be copying this idea very soon. :)
Great idea. Wish I had known--had Josh and Jaden with me and our 'hood pool was closed for repairs. You're amazing!
Yep, going to be copying this idea!!!
