...and he's off!!!

We are officially marking today as the day Clinton first crawled. For the past couple of weeks, he has been making progress with forward movement. Today it was very intentional movement to a very decided location. His favorite things to crawl after are apples, my computer, and Gracie's slobber covered toys....lovely.

My dad called today and said, "I heard Clinton has put it into four wheel drive now." Laughing, I lovingly replied, "He actually put it into three wheel drive." He puts his right leg in what appears to be the proper motions but just drags his left leg extended behind him. It's pretty funny. The best is when he spots something he wants to touch. He gets really excited and slams his hands and feet into the ground before taking off.

Clinton has also learned a new trick. He can give you five! ...just in time for football season! We're so proud of our little boy and his latest accomplishments. We look forward to encouraging him as he continues to progress.

Aside from today's excitement, we also had a fun weekend. We went to North Carolina for our friends', Christel and Skip, wedding. It was at Leatherwood, a "resort" of sorts for people who have or want to come and ride horses. Everyone rents their own cabin. It was really nice. Below are some pics from our trip.
