Funny Faces

A wee bit dramatic...

The funny/sad thing about this is that I think he acts like his daddy and his daddy thinks he acts likes me....hmmm. So I guess we're two drama majors in denial!

I've Fallen and I Can't Get Out!!

Clinton found himself in a little situation the other day, and being the awesome mom that I am, I opted to take photos rather than help him. Now, I had intended to help him out once I finished the photo shoot, but you'll notice he beat me to it.

Bowling Time

We took a family bowling trip this past Sunday with Rodney's sister, Alesha, and her kids, Keelan and Emma, and Rodney's mom, Cathy, and her boyfriend, John. It was so much fun. I wasn't nearly as good as I remembered myself being. On the last frame I realized that the screen was reporting how fast our balls were going down the lane. Once I realized that (and realized I wasn't going to win anyway), I decided I was no longer bowling for points but for speed. I had been averaging about 13mph and Rodney bowled over 19mph....so my goal was to beat him. I only got to 16mph, but I got two strikes in a row!! I now know what my strategy will be for next time! Rodney ended up beating us all pretty bad with a 175...I didn't even break 100...but I was close!

A few shots of Clinton on his first trip to the bowling alley.

Emma very excited about an awesome bowl! (Is "bowl" even a verb?)

Me and Rodney

Let It Snow!

We had a great little snow the other night. Clinton loves to rock on the porch when it's raining, so I bundled him up and took him out to see what he thinks about snow. He loved it. And while I took several pictures of the snow, I managed to not get one picture of my little snow bunny...I know, I know...such a great mom!

Faces of My Angel

A face I can't get enough of!

Clinton taking a moment away from his toys as his mommy calls his name.

Clinton very interested in the camera his mommy is holding.

Clinton doing his "Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!" when he is excited about something, such as the camera mommy is holding.

Clinton screaming at mommy because she won't hand over the beloved camera!

Playtime in the new playroom

Clinton and I have been collecting his toys from all over the house and we have created a new playroom in one of the corners of our bonus/family room. I've still got some more things I want to do to pull it all together, but so far Clinton loves what he has. He now seems to be much more interested in his toys and will play with them for long periods of time. Hallelujah!

I'm a Cowboy, Baby

Because Sharing Is Nice

Clinton is all about feeding himself AND Gracie these days. He will rarely eat off of a spoon and he shares everything with Gracie. We've actually had to start putting Gracie outside some, because if she cries, Clinton will hand over whatever he is eating....even if he really wants it. What a sweet, big heart!

Mommy's Little Singing Bee

Clinton has several new tricks...grinding his teeth (which makes me sick), drinking out of his bucket in the bathtub, and dancing, which is cute to watch. His dancing started as head bobbing then graduated to his whole body bouncing up and down. Now, he has added in clapping....the boy's got rhythm. While I love the dancing, I really love his newest trick....singing!! His talking voice is VERY loud. His singing voice is soft and very high pitched....and he smiles while he does it...it just melts my heart.

Below are some adorable pictures of Clinton in some of his cowboy pajamas. Look at all the hair and teeth!!

One of Clinton's sweet girls, Marin Dalby

This is how I throw a tantrum!

I carefully lay myself down on the floor and make sure someone is watching...

Then I think about what I'm going to do...

I usually select crying...

Way to go, mom...

So, several posts ago I mentioned that I broke my stovetop while trying to childproof my home. Well, we know someone really awesome and it wasn't long before we had a new stovetop. We had it installed just before Christmas and I just had to show it off! The new one is stainless, so I shouldn't be breaking this one!
